smile friday, round 2 because it was just that kind of week and this pic makes me smile big. many moons ago, my family and i were on a road trip out east to prince edward island and when my mom spontaneously turned around to snap a pic of us girls in the car, i decided to pose with a pony tail mustache and create the persona of luigi, an italian man with a thick italian accent who had a mustache. i know, so random but i’m really weird.
anyways, luigi became a thing and every chance we had in front of a camera together, my sisters and i would do the luigi. fast forward to my wedding day and lo and behold, we did the luigi and this is one of my favourite pics from that day.
also, how awesome are these colours? we coordinated our jewel tone dresses (my mom wore cobalt) and since it rained that day, my mom ended up buying giant purple umbrellas for our garden ceremony, so it turned out we were rainbow-esque which was very fitting since we got married the first day same sex couples were allowed to marry in ny state! pretty great, right?
